RundholzI bought my first Rundholz piece in 2007 - and I still have it today! Rundholz is one of the labels that can be described as timeless Avantgarde. Timeless, not in the sense of always having been boring, but sustainably interesting and without signs of wear and tear - neither aesthetic nor qualitative. Carsten Rundholz comes from a graphic design background, that is clearly recognizable.
art pointThe designer Lena Kvadrat founded her label art point in the 90s, and has settled in the new district of Vienna since 2001. Kvadrat runs a stylish concept store there and develops two collections annually, engaged with themes such as Corporeality and Neo/Futurism.
Transformation and consensus-building are the magnetic poles of the tension field in which her concepts develop. art point pieces are meant to offer the wearer participation and self-realization simultaneously.
serien°umericaserien°umerica was founded in 2009 in Turin by Maria de Ambrogio and Stella Tosco, and is deeply connected with this city and its artisanal traditions. The designers work in close contact with local artisans and operate a Knit-lab since 2018, with the goal of exploring the possibilities of new materials - increasingly recycled, too - and to unite the highest quality of production with maximal artistic freedom.
Tata ChristianeDeconstructed Couture
Contemporary Street Costume
Tata Christiane is a vision of the street costume. It proposes an absurd and disturbing vision of beauty, with decline, maladjustment, extravagance, and immoderation. It plays with the borders of elegance, digging up our old memories, recycling the waste of our civilization.
Masha MariaMasha Maria has meanwhile become a secret tip, because of the fact that she can only find so much material each year as is available for her products, which made it incredibly difficult to get a hold of her products. We just about managed to obtain three of her jackets for the concept store.
Masha Maria was born in Amsterdam in 2017. Olga, it’s founder, comes from a graphic design background that’s why the colours are so vivid and shapes are so well defined.
